Serge Lutens, an independent artist, whose work is outside of trendy fads.
He loves southern climes, the colours and fragrances of the Mediterranean and lives in Marrakech, Morocco.
He personally creates from start to finish:
- imagining his fragrances;
- designing their bottles and packaging;
- photographing his models.
He is passionate and fascinated by beauty, authenticity and perfection.
A few milestones in Serge Lutens’ career
1968
12 years with Christian Dior, where he was artistic director of his own project to develop a makeup line. He discovers Morocco.
1980
Lutens takes charge of the visual identity and international image of Shiseido.
1992
Opening of the Shiseido Salons du Palais Royal, the universe of Serge Lutens perfumes.
2000
He creates and signs his own brand.
